The Mother (2012)
The Mother is a comic-opera short about an aspiring singer-songwriter who is surprised to find out that her retired mother has learned how to play guitar and is writing songs. She is even more surprised when her mother becomes wildly successful.
The Mother premiered February 9, 2013 at Issue Project Room in Brooklyn, New York. It was directed by Louisa Proske and performed by Hotel Elefant with Erin Flannery, soprano; and Lisa Komara, mezzo-soprano.
